Hello Kidventure Families!

In our unit “To the Depths” we learned the importance of using our words to be helpful rather than hurtful. Often our words can flow quickly out of our mouths before we realize what we are going to say but this can be a very hurtful way to speak to other people. Psalm 19:14 reminds us, “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. We can ask God to help us with our words that they would build others up and be pleasing to God this week. Our main point is, “I will use my words to help others!” As a family talk about what it looks like for you to use words to encourage each other this week!

Preschool Family Devotional (3 and 4 yrs.)

During our 8 weeks in “To the Depths” we will be on an underwater adventure! We will be diving deep into the book of James to discover how God wants us to live. I encourage families to take some time to read through the book of James during these 8 weeks. Please e-mail me and let me know how God uses it to strengthen your family, I would love to hear about it!

A little over a month ago the Kidventure Elementary kids performed a song in service written by Kallie Kreutz. It was a HUGE success as friends and family joined us to cheer the children on. What a victory to see so many young people singing to Jesus and inspiring us older adults to live out our faith! If you’re interested in watching the performance you can find it on our website by clicking here.

Don’t forget to stay up to date with Prairie Heights and Kidventure on our new and improved website!

Have a great week!
