PHCC Easter Update

I am SO excited for our Easter Service this Sunday. God has some new things He is going to do in the lives of people!  I just know it!  I am talking about “hitting a wall” (financial wall, relational wall, job wall, blindside wall) and the wall we will all hit…the mortality wall.  We can work our way through and endure many walls, but there is only ONE Redeemer who has conquered the mortality wall and only ONE way for US to come out the other side victorious!  His name is Jesus and He is the Risen Savior!

92 of the 150 chairs have been sponsored so far…PRAISE God!  Over $30,000 has been received for furnishings in addition to the chair sponsorship…GREAT!  So, we are looking at 58 additional chairs ($2,320) and $24,000 in gifts for furnishings needed.  We are working towards some positive news regarding the potential development costs due this fall.  Keep praying for God to provide financial miracles to allow the mission to continue moving forward!!  I walked through the ministry center last night and WOW, it is going to be an amazing tool to invest in the spiritual journeys of people including our middle and high school students.

1,334 lbs of non-perishable food and personal items were sorted and organized last night and given to the Great Plains Food Bank from PHCC!  Isn’t that just a blast to hear!  That is so exciting!

Brenda Podetz (blpodetzatyahoodotcom  (blpodetzatyahoodotcom)  ) is coordinating Prairie Heights tables at this event on October 7 and 8.  Brenda said that so far PHCC is selling: Quilted items, change purses, scrapbooking layouts, stamped cards, bookmarks, bottle cap pins and magnets, enameled charms and beads, carved wood crosses, knit hats, small dresses for toddlers, baked goods, and holiday ornaments.  If you would like to participate please email Brenda!  This will be a fun connections event for those who participate and the proceeds are going towards Ministry Center costs.

I am thankful that God has given this “crazy” church called Prairie Heights an indomitable spirit that comes from the heart and the passion of Jesus Christ!  See you on Sunday if you are in town.  If not, I wish you a Happy Easter and a significant celebration!
