September 19 Parent Connection

Howdy Kidventure Families!

In our elementary program (K-5th grade) we continued into the Wild West with our unit, “On the Trail.” Our friend Mike was back with the Kidventure Band on Sunday and the kids were totally excited to have the band back! Our actors on Sunday, Tex and Cookie taught us that the we can trust in God’s promises in our lives! We learned that God promises us eternal life and it’s up to us whether we are going to accept it and believe it. Join us this week as we continue our cattle drive west and learn about God’s plan for each of us!

In preschool (3-5 years) this week we learned the importance friends! We created a craft that helped remind us that God gives us friends in our life, just like God gave David a good friend named Jonathan. In our current unit, “Ten Hut Jr.” we join Help Corp Recruit, Mardy, as we journey through the life of David. David was a man after God’s heart. We want to learn how to live like a boy or girl following after God’s heart. Just as God provided a good friend in David’s life, he gives us friends in our lives too. Join us again next week as we continue to learn from David. We will be talking about being kind to others who are mean to us this week! See you Sunday!

Check out the fun we are having in our Walker and Infant Nursery rooms! This Sunday we had fun playing with the toys and reading books! Our nurseries are professionally staffed with employees who are CPR and First Aid certified. The reason we hire our nursery staff is we want to provide the best care possible for parents with young children. We want our guests and parents to feel comfortable when dropping off their children in our Nurseries. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have about our nurseries.

I’m already looking forward to yet another GREAT Sunday at Prairie Heights, you won’t want to miss it! See you Sunday!
