Our primary goal is for everyone at Prairie Heights to engage in STAND. By taking a step of faith to engage in STAND, we will grow our trust and faith in God. Our spiritual growth is the number one goal of STAND.

SECONDARY GOAL

STAND IN THE GAP

The secondary goal of STAND is to expand total giving to $7.7M between June 2022-May 2024. Because STAND is a one fund initiative, the amount includes the overall annual budget and expanded giving. All giving allows Prairie Heights to STAND for Changed Lives, Future Generations, and a Transformed Community.

EPHESIANS 3:16-21

I was driving home and it hit me…tears began rolling down my cheeks. Slow at first, then before I knew it, my vision was clouded. My minivan stopped at the red light and I was thinking about being part of Prairie Heights, our church family. I was dreaming about our future and how what we decide to do in the next several months will change lives across our cities and through generations.

Isn’t it incredible to think that God has placed US…right here…right now…in this story…in this time in history… for His purposes? We get to do this. We get to be a part of God’s movement in our cities. We get to believe more than ever in the HOPE that only the local church can bring.

The number of people living apart from God in our local community is growing. In God’s timing, it has become crystal clear what we must do as we move forward in our mission to connect those apart from God with Christ and a church family.

Together, we must STAND in the gap for the people of our community.

The apostle Paul wrote many letters to the early churches who were living out the mission Jesus invited them to follow. In Ephesians 3:16-21, he prayed for the people on the front lines of the local church. That prayer is for all of us. It’s just as real today as it was then: God is going to build our spiritual strength as we live out our mission.

We will STAND on the roots of our faith in who Jesus is and who He can be for those who don’t know Him…yet.

Over these two years, we will double down on our mission by focusing on Changed Lives, Future Generations and Transformed Community.
