Welcome Home Drive Supporting families through the Jeremiah Program Prairie Heights is partnering with the Jeremiah Program to collect kitchen essentials that help welcome single mothers and their children into their homes. The Jeremiah Program supports moms who are pursuing college while raising their children. Through housing, mentorship, leadership development, and early childhood education, families receive the support they need to build a strong future. You can help by donating practical kitchen essentials that make a home feel ready and welcoming. Suggested items include: Pots and pans Bakeware Cutting boards Dish soap Kitchen towels Cooking utensils Silverware Dishes and cups Oven mitts or hot pads Food storage containers Grocery Gift Cards Bring donations to Prairie Heights on Sunday, May 10, or drop them off at the church office on May 11 or May 12. Starting Point Preview is a short, informal gathering that happens right after service. It is the best first step if you are curious about Starting Point and want to learn more before deciding if it is right for you. You will meet a leader, hear what the experience is like, and have space to ask your questions in a relaxed setting. What to expect: A quick, casual overview of what Starting Point is and who it is for A chance to meet a leader and hear what an 8 week group looks like Space to ask honest questions with no pressure No sign up required Good to know: Happens right after service Casual, friendly, and helpful Childcare is available during service You do not need to have it all figured out. PRAIRIE HEIGHTS KIDS - MOVE UP SUNDAY May 179:00 and 11:00 AM Move Up Sunday is when kids take a step into their next environment for the upcoming school year. If your child is entering a new grade this fall, this will be their first Sunday to move into their new space at Prairie Heights Kids. It’s a simple and meaningful moment that helps them start the next season feeling confident and connected. Our team will be ready to guide you and your child from the moment you arrive, so you’ll know exactly where to go and what to expect. What to Expect On Move Up Sunday, kids will move into their new environments based on the grade they’re entering this fall: Entering Kindergarten → K-1st Room Entering 2nd Grade → 2nd-3rd Room Entering 4th Grade → Summit If you have any questions when you arrive, stop by Connect in the lobby and someone will be there to help.
Exploring faith involves asking questions. Starting Point is an 8 week group experience for anyone exploring faith, new to church, or coming back after time away. It is a safe, small group setting where you can ask honest questions, share doubts, and have real conversations. This group will meet on Sundays from 10:30–11:45 AM beginning May 17. During this project, volunteers will help furnish and prepare a space for a family transitioning out of homelessness. From setting up furniture to adding finishing touches, every detail helps create a place that feels welcoming, safe, and ready for a new beginning. This experience is real and impactful. In just a few hours, you’ll play a part in helping a family take a meaningful step forward. Spots are limited, so be sure to register in advance.
