God Has Prepared You and Me: Here is my Story, what is yours?

I said it in a meeting without even thinking about it. As soon as it came out of my mouth I knew it was true and it reaffirmed my decision to work at Prairie Heights. What I said was this: “I have talked with more than 1,000 people through interviews and focus groups and the same three things have consistently come up over the last 12 years.” This ah-ha moment helped me see how I’ve been prepared to serve our church and our church family. As I thought about all of my experiences as a Prairie Heighter, I was, and continue to be amazed. So amazed I started a list, not from the place of look what I have done – from the place of look at how God prepared me to serve the local church.

Reflecting on those words I said without thinking has been the most powerful way God has affirmed this is where he wants me to be. Equally important, I was reminded that when I lean into what he has for me – more than I can even picture or understand will happen! I hope my story and experiences can help you see the path God is taking YOU down!
